I am looking forward to the transformation, Jason. GRANT showed me your channel. I thought I recognised the back of your unit. Turns out I live 1 mile from you😂. Small world. I own my own mobile smart repair business and send all the big repairs your way. Keep up the good work and videos. Cheers Gary
love it had a few of them Monaco Blue paint code RNC i believe been a while!! 😂😂😂 i definitely would not paint strip it, they are from that age where they had the good e coat and protective primer with the good chemicals in that they removed later on, i would definitely leave as much oem on there as possible 100% do the light repairs and paint as normal
Been enjoying watching your videos, great workmanship! and have a very similar background being paint sprayer but with a Renault 5 Gtturbo saying I will get it done every year still stuck in my workshop while I get on with everyone else’s for over 10 years. Love the Clio. Looking forward to this :-) all the best
Very few and far between the Williams clio , good colour combo , your just like me no time to do our own stuff . Its been over a year before i've had the chance to work on my classic Lambretta. That engine sounds healthy on the Renault , make an effort too get on with it and it would make great content for your channel .👍👍👍 . Remember thats a 20k plus car also i'm going the Gavin Pink road Novol classic materials .
Epic car and video, I'm 57 now ex 1980s petrolhead and have owned loads of GTIs PUG and VWs Alfasuds GTVs Lancia etc, never owned a Renault hot hatch but look to buy them all the time, a hot Clio and a GT Coupe Audi 2.2 are on my next to buy list
I remember going to the training centre at Renault in Swindon as a apprentice. Painter. In my triumph spitfire. For 6wks learning about IXZEL PAINTS. for warranty repairs. That brought back memories. Have a good new year 👍old school painter 45 and more yrs retired now your work is shithot. Don't be humble that gun finish is good 👌 👍 bucks boy i is
That’s great thanks for sharing this, the training centre was in the yellow Renault building wasn’t it, that’s where my dad and uncle worked, they were the 2 longest serving people in the there when it closed, we moved from reading to Swindon when I was 6 as my dad moved with the job, I have great memories of Renault’s I used to love going in there and looking at all the new models as a kid I worked at Swindon body centre for a while and we used ixell for Renault warranty work, they make good products 👍Thanks really appreciate it 👍🙏
They had a display inthe front I think there was Evan a Renault hanging from the ceiling? Good cars worked in Renault body shop one time for about 4 years. Very underrated.i did my apprenticeship on British Leyland and ROLLS ROYCE .JAGUAR. so have a soft spot for them to 👍
Alright...I had the William's 2 about 20 years ago...what a fantastic car maxed out 135 but got there really quickly 188bhp pocket rocket 😊 wish I kept it, I'm restoring a 1986 2.0 laser capri "personal project" at current..keep em coming fella 👍
What a nice car to own Jason - hope you manage to get it done next year, but know where you're coming from when you say its hard to find the time to do your own stuff - got a garage full of untouched projects of my own!. Loving the videos and your work 👍.
@@TheHumblePaintSprayer333 My business is classic Mini's - have MK1, MK2 and MK3 Cooper S's. Like you I'm vowing to get one done next year!. Would like a MK1 Escort and Clip 172 Cup too - you know how it is with cars!.
An interesting project, haven’t seen one on the road for ages. Sounds like it has good history, and a favourite car of yours. I might of missed it, but I don’t think you mentioned the mileage ? Look forward to part 2, thanks for sharing Jason. Cheers Vince.
Nice to see a Williams on the channel, I had a low milage series 1 a long time ago - regret selling it. They are so much fun, nothing really compares to it. Looking forward to the progress :) Have a great new year!
