Had exactly the same fault on a Nissan qashai that hadn’t been serviced for a very long time. The air filter was so blocked it had collapsed. 👍

Excellent diagnosis..The Renault filters normally have a directional arrow on the filters 😅

brilliant - you know how many other things other professionals would have checked and experimented with but sometimes it is just simple things no one would ever think of checking. I got a similar issue but I need to trial and error with the basics ( mine does this without the airbox pipes on so unfortunatley need to keep looking )
