Renault Megane E-Tech vs Volvo EX30 ER - Which car is best for you? 

A HUD would be a good option to offer for the Volvo....a missed opportunity really. Even better adding a small screen in front of the driver for basics like speed and simple navigation prompts. I like the Renaults buttons below the screen too. Obviously Volvo wanted to keep costs down but perhaps one too many sacrifices to achieve that in my opinion.

The Google route planner on my Mégane works perfectly and on my various social media groups no-one has reported any problems.

Renault is bigger and more eficient. Is has enough buttons.

Great video and great timing as i find myself trying to decide between these two!! I feel such a predicament though, I'd always wanted a Volvo but loads of people like the Megane more and even say it feels nicer inside despite the lower price. I like the sound of the Volvo's more fun driving style a lot though, and the 4x wheel drive (and the upcoming cross country edition)... That said, i like how the megane looks and i enjoy all the physical buttons! Its also an older car so cheaper to find secondhand too. I currently drive a 2016 Renault Zoe and i do like it, i just wish it could travel further for more fun roadtrips. Its a great local runaround though so i give props to Renault. How can i ever decide? The Megane feels more practical and long-term and sensible.. but I've always wanted a fun car too... It'll probably end up being the Renault but i will always look longingly at the EX30.

Nice review. I've just test driven both and I'm leaning towards the Volvo. It felt better to drive and visibility was better.

The Volvo is superior in driving, with plenty of power, and I find the interior design (and seats) modern, minimalistic and cool. No need for buttons or HUD (give it two days). Great with the scandinavian design and chinese tech combo.

At Volvo, you get used very quickly to the central screen and voice commands. Both are very friendly. It’s a matter of break paradigm.

At around 10:07 you said "now the car lost control". You do realise that's a lane assist, because, well, you weren't concentrating and were verging away from your lane... So the car TOOK control, not LOST control. That totally lost all validity of this review for me, clueless lol 😂

Buttons are so past century! Zero buttons 🙌🏻
