The base of the vehicle is where it wins. A good engine, good chassis.. the rest of the treats are a bonus! Renault, Vauxhall and Nissan all share this frame and it’s a good one! I used to drive the Vauxhall van variant of this and it was brilliant! Great review 👍
we used to have '99 Honda Euro Civic 1.6 ies...it was too small to carry some stuff and people... and than we bought '11 Renault Grand Scenic 7 seater, but even with this car we are having some problem when we are 7 and have to get in it.. Renault Traffic is maybe the next car =)
More than 10 years have passed, Transit and Sprinter turned into a bucket of rust 😱 Traffic, Vivaro, Primastar double-sided galvanized body that doesn't rust 🚐👍
greetings to ireland from turkiye... excellent review mate. i absolutely love your reviews. to be honest carbuyer's and your channels are the first ones i look at for the reviews of the most recent cars... i had driven a passenger version of a traffic (diesel+auto transmission) for 1500 km during my croatia+bosnia trip; no hassle indeed. i definitely recommend to anyone looking for a real "big" family option...
The Renault Traffic is so damn comfy to drive, and great when you are moving. You can fit two freezer boxes, a sofa, the kitchen table and a double bed, without having to fold down the seats!
Great review.. have 4 kids hopefuly 5 in june all going well! Also back problems and you answered all my questions and brought up things i never thought of.. i brought one for a test drive today this video helped me make my mind up...keep up the good work 👍
Another great video, its obvious you put a lot of thought into these reviews. Would love to see your review of the new Panda TwinAir if you have the time in your schedule
Seen several of them on the road. To me they are the best look small towncar out there. Better looking than the Mazda 2, Yaris, I20, Skoda Fabia (which is more practical though), Suzuki Swift, Corsa, Fiesta, ...
Have you ordered it? There's only one version here although there are some options like alloys and some other toys like sat nav. SO I'm not sure what's in the sport version. Best of luck and send us some pictures!
Lots of questions. having 9 seats gives lots of options, the Qashqai is 7 seat sort of. The VW Toureg is 5 seat. Sure you'll look like a taxi but when room is the main concern then there isn't many options. If you have 5 kids and a wife then 7 most of the time
I didn't now that you did a review about the Renault Trafic too, that's really funny. I need to check your videos to see which cars we both have reviewed and compare what we thought about them. I am however sure, that the latest car I reviewed (GMC Sierra pickup truck) is not available in Ireland (same like many small city cars aren't available here in Dubai).
This is true, the Traffic scores low on the face of it but if you look at the comments on the score its mostly to do with poor instructions and the lack of ESC and head airbags. The cars go down in stars as the tests move on, cars in 2008 that got 5 stars might only have 2 or less now, the comments will tell more of a story than just the stars. Getting 5 stars is much harder this year but you'll find that car companies will catch up
Smokerspack, I just found out that the 2012 Traffic gets 2 stars in the euro n cap. That's worrying, being that this is a car that would mainly be made for large families and that it's a Renault! What do you think of this? Other cars like the new Toyota Aygo losing one start to a 3 star safety rating and the Renault Fluence Z.E. getting 4 stars. It must be regulations since now to get 5 stars a car must have ESC as standard.
Great info( gas mileage, comfort, space, ergonomics) Could have used more info in reliability, handling, road noise, fit and finish. I appreciate your no frills video and great subtle British humor. There are a few nasty bad apples everywhere you go but we good apples drive on! Sincerely, Mike
Great no weird music at the start. Straight in. Would a real drive not prefer a Nissan Qashqui+2 as at least it would not be mistaken for a taxi van? That or a Audi Toureg. Have fun parking this in the city unless its a taxi rank. How often would all 7 be in the car at the same time?
Which is the best car to survive zombie apocalypse? Don't say any SUV, I mean it needs to be strong, fast and efficient if possible. Also i think it should have a big fuel tank...
Anything that is mechanically simple, without all the fancy electronics that are bound to break down sooner than later. Also you can atleast fix it with some basic knowledge about engines and cars.
