Rendering lard and making soap 

When we render lard we always make several batches of soap. The fat is fresh and already hot so it takes one step out of the process. It makes the best soap at this time because it hasn’t been frozen. After rendering and cooling, the lard goes into a freezer for storage. It can be thawed and melted for soap at anytime but this just skips a step. I will make a dedicated soap tutorial later but This is just to show how the fat becomes lard.
