Some facts about Renegade-X because quite a few people seem confused by this.
-This version is UDK based and stand alone.
-There is a UT3 version, this is NOT it.
-We did NOT work 7 years on the multiplayer version. 7 years was the complete cycle of UT3, Black Dawn (Singleplayer) and the upcoming February 2014 multiplayer release.
-It's 100% free, NO Free 2 Play model.
-EA will not shut us down. (Unless they pull some 180) We've been in contact with EA pretty much from the start and they've given us their blessing as long as we don't make money off of the product.

This is Not and nore does it look like BF4 CoD or Planetside2, Command & Conquer Renegade is an FPS Underdog and a Classic, its awesome to see Totem Arts Giving it a fresh rebirth with the latest Unreal Engine and classic gameplay style, this Remake more than has what it takes to compete against the Big Dogs and gives old fans a new look on this gaming classic.. I was also talking about the old Renegade to the 666th Devil Dogs (the clan I'm a part of), saying that it'd be nice to play it again. THANK YOU Totem Arts for this Epic Remake...

Can't really be ripping off CoD or Battlefield seeming the original game that this is based off of pre-dates both games initial releases Renegade: Feb 2002 Battlefield 1942: Sept 2002 CoD: Oct 2003

and renegade gameplay and universe is totally different, Bf and cod are base on real things and Renegade is base on a strategie game Command and Conquer Dawn of Tiberium

Still have my original C&C Renegade. First game that supported multiplayer vehicle gameplay in a new, fun way. The father of the modern COD and BF games. Westwood forever, long live Kane! :)

Doowoo I played the original Renegade but I thought Planetside 1 was older? Well anyway the reason I play Planetside 2 is because it shares a lot of the base-to-base vehicular warefare mechanics you find in Renegade. The infantry game is way more interesting in CnC Renegade though IMO.

C&C:Renegade was one of the best online experience Ive ever had the gameplay was truly genius. People always complained about the lack of teamwork in BF games while this one here,showed what pushing as a team/defending your own base with teamwork could achieve. The gameplay was so unique I always wanted to play a new game that kept the same mechanics.. This trailer is truly amazing and revives lots of memories playing this game as a kid. I cant wait for release I really hope it comes as a stand alone. edit: nvm yes it does!

Not only did they fix the wonky animations, they've integrated physics. When some things blow up, they fly off, ala Generals. Loving this so much!

It would be awesome if there was a "Commander" that would "contruct" the base, etc and just normal players that would be put in control of some BOTS/"NPCs" making them PCs... So there would be huge fights between Players vs Players vs Bots. Like Command and Conquer but people could control some of the bots that the Commander would create. Let's say the server could handle like 200/300 bots per team. And 64 of those bots could be controlled by players. Of course that there could have to be a number CAP on Vehicles such as Tanks and Helis. I think that would be freaking awesome!

I can't wait to give this game a try. As a fan of the original C&C series, I used to play Renegade multi-player almost everyday. The modders seem to have done a wonderful job keeping the core gameplay of the original with improved graphics. By showing my appreciation of all of their hard work, I will support them by playing it when released next year.

Looks great. Please however use the regular eva voice from renegade. The voice at the end sounds horrible.

They can't do that without permission from EA, also the sound files don't cover everything they want/need.

they've used plenty of other sounds from the game such as ingame dialogue. The eva they have in this clip sounds awful. Its hard to hear, is not enunciation properly, and overall just sounds poor. They need someone to read the lines in the same matter as the original voice. Enunciate the syllables and words in the same fashion.

I have been waiting for this game to release since 2007. This game is so unknown, yet so incredibly smart. It's a bit moba like, but with all the greatness of a shooter as well! The strategy involved in this game is just fantastic. So many possibilities and such endless fights. And let's not forget to mention all the servers with their mods, unique gameplay modes and endless skins for basically everything. This game is going to be so epic, yet not many people realize that. Can't wait!

I am very impressed. No really, if this is 100% free which it is. this looks like 10/10 game. A solid 9. All this for free... I can see the love went into it, something DICE needs these days. C&C, Battlefield and Planetside had an awesome 3some.

I just love the command and conquer series, it doesn't even have to compete in graphics with the upcoming games. It just doesn't have to look good, because of its awesomeness!
