Renji's Bankai is absolutely insane, Zabimaru animation, The details on every single spec of Renji's Bankai is absolutely well done. I'm going to be honest this may be the coolest looking Bankai I have seen so far. Change that, Its the coolest Bankai I have ever seen.

Ah, one of my favorite examples of "less is more" when it comes to Bankais. Renji's VA definitely nailed this scene, and so did Mask's!

Seeing Renji get such a spectacular win was epic especially given his past struggles. He sure succeeded here. His staying close to Rukia also foreshadows his eventual relationship with her. And Mask going full ham and cheese throughout was spectacular.

Wally seriously made that sounds so cool, I strongly like the way he said the name of his Bankai & I like it’s name. So-oh Zabimaru is much cooler than Hihio Zabimaru. Not only does Renji look handsome and menacinglly strong in the new Bankai drip, but he is also showcasing a new hard hitting snake bite technique. very visually impressive.

So Renjis previous bankai was only based on the snake part, which explains why his bankai was so weak compared to others, it was almost a nerf for him when using it, because it was so thoug to handle. Now he can us long rang and short range attacks and both versions are strong as f. He has surpassed captain level now, by far.

Gotta say, this pretty much shows that Renji has finally reached Captain-level power. I say this because he was able to utterly demolish an enemy that was able to completely curb stomp 2 other captains (Rose and Kinsei). In fact, this marks a rare occasion in Bleach in general because normally, it’s the captains who come to help everyone else below them. The only examples other than this where it’s low levels who save captains I can think of are: 1. Hisagi saving Komamura from Tosen. 2. Lisa and Hiyori (former lieutenants) helping Hitsugaya fend off Halibel. 3. Hachi (former lieutenant of Kido Corp) saving Soi Fon from Barragan. 4. Ikkaku and Yumichika helping Kenpachi against Hisagi and Iba, even though Kenpachi realistically probably could have taken them, Komamura, and Tosen (pre-hollow form). That’s the charm of Thousan Year Blood War as far as I’ve gotten. It gives multiple characters who got the shaft in previous arcs a chance to shine.

Renji Abarai's new character design with longer red hairs is really awesome and this moment of Bleach Renji vs Superstar was so EPIC, Renji's Bankai's true power looked really bewutiful and Renji's theme song Nora Inu is a BANGER like what Number one is too. Today is a Bleachday, I've streamed Bleach Brave souls and I will watch newiest Bleach episode todsy too. Bleach is my life. HOWL ZABIMARU! 🗡🔥🐍🦍

I interpret even though he can be told Zabimaru's true name, he can't actually use it until he undergoes a massive amount of training and the Zanpakuto "respects" him enough to let him use it. However I like the interpretation that Renji is an illiterate musclehead idiot who has a hard time with words. And the extremely meta dub interpretation that Japanese is difficult for English speakers. So funny.
