I cannot express enough how much my soul was overjoyed to hear that precious little Crusoe ask his daddy for a ladder to get the fruit out of the tree. I will have to watch this over and over! His little voice so expressive and earnest to get help. Thank you John for stopping your work and giving him all your attention with his request. When he looked at the camera and replied " I can't do that, I'm a baby" I thought I would fall out of my chair with absolute love at his beautiful little face saying such true words!!!! The puppy is adorable and watching Obi run after both boys, lopping along with them was epic. Oh such memories to be made! Little Sawyer is running and balancing so well, I'm amazed at how fast he is growing. I have to admit when Tara said his name I thought she said "Hot" and I was wondering why she would name him that. The accent sometimes doesn't translate to American. Oh, I thought to myself, HEART! The letter R isn't pronounced in British like it is here. Anyway, thank you for giving my 56 year old self the most beautiful way to wake up on Mothers Day. Two of my four children will come over this afternoon and enjoy banana splits along with my grandchildren. What an epic progression on your farm. I'm thrilled for your sweet family. I love you all to pieces. I plan on giving to your channel at my first opportunity. Love you!!!

John was up on the ladder in the middle of building he could have easily said give me 5 minutes. But the cruise please got John down in 2 seconds. I nugget of a moment. I loved it to pieces.

You are proving the old saying "it takes a village to raise a child". Love seeing Mario's obvious love for the boys and their love for him. Both of them are learning the joy of an extended family without realising it.

John not only are you talented in so many ways you are a wonderful father. Crusoe asks his dad to help him, and everything stops for John to help his son, beautiful moment.

For you to respond quietly and quickly allowed him to successfully ask you to help him! A truly important connection for you both to arrive at a plan. To ignore him at that critical moment or delay a response would not have calmed him. Wizard on your part, John! As a Speech Therapist (retired), I commend your decision to enable the child to speak. You both tend to the children beautifully….getting down to their level to have a chat…..repeating their comments also supports their confidence in their plan or observations. A lady with a power nailer. How cool is that I love that puppy and your children will have so many memories. We got a puppy when my children were about your age and opal lived for 16 years. He went everywhere the children went period And if I couldn't find them all I had to do was call for the dog and he would show me where they were. This was much to their dismay. Yes as much as kids seem to understand they really don’t… they are connected to memories and the security. Maybe bring out the house plans and copy it or trace it. Write the name of each child on spots in the new house. It’s a physical thing Crusoe can hold and it’s his. Sawyer will follow Crusoe lead as small brother. I hope that helps…

Absolutely joy to watch John building. Love love love woodworking. As a woman it was rare back in Hungary to do woodworking but I did chess tables for 3 years. Loved every moment of it. Tara just keep chatting. Love it. Obi(oneKenobi) is so cute. In Australia it is a farm working dog. That 🍊 was as big as a newborn baby head.😊 🫂🦘🐨🦘🐨
