The kitchen is truly immaculate and the sea creature room blends audacious modern in a n historical setting brilliantly. Well done to them for creating something special. I hope one day they share it with the public.
@@tanyawalsh1238 if it were immaculate they would be able to open the fridge door and have the lights positioned properly . The woman couldn’t do interior design if her life depended upon it . Tasteless, pretentious crap .
Oh, my heart goes out to Matt and Michelle. They're such beginners - you really have to give them credit for their courage. They need to do a bit more research on-line before they start a job, so they at least know the right tools to use. Their house is going to be beautiful. I hope Michelle gets her window seat covered in William Morris fabric. It will be perfect there.
I think Matt should have used glue/adhesive when installing the plasterboard on the ceiling- the screws are to secure it until the glue goes off … at least that’s how we do things in Oz.
OMG. Ear protection. I know I'm talking to someone in the past -- completely futile -- but put some ear protection on!!!!!! Not to mention they need some masks sweeping up all that dust and some good work clothes. Please be careful Matt and Michelle!!
Look I know it shouldn't matter but I am SO SICK of people putting Art Deco in period houses when it doesn't belong. This is Tudor/Jacobean Revival/Arts and Crafts! Totally different aesthetic(s) and approach. Then again there's also a pink bath so whatever. I still love the house but I'm not confident the decor will be sympathetic to the period...
