First the plaintiff let's her dog roam freely on the defendant's property and then she has the nerve to refuse to pay rent, she is the problem and blamed it all on the defendant.
Seems quite irresponsible to let your chihuahua out when theres a German Shepherd outside in your common backyard whther either of the dogs were restrained or not
She was told by the "Board of Health" that the conditions were so unsanitary that she should not pay rent, but stay there for months? She is fearless, a cheapskate, but fearless.
Not only do people not understand their rights when it comes to them vs the government (criminal court), but they also seem to misunderstand how the law works when it comes to interpersonal relationships (civil law). I say that because people think they can sue for anything, even their own negligence. Also, one contract has nothing to do with the other, you can't stop paying rent for reasons not outlined in the contract or renters rights laws.
I doubt any board is gonna tell people to basically become squatters and refuse payment of rent over an incident that the plaintive didn't even see happen. Additionally, why is her chihuahua on a 60 ft. lead if she knows she shares the yard with a larger, unchained dog? That's asking for accidents to happen.
Agreed. Whatever the problem is when you stop paying rent but keep living there it tends to looks like you're just trying to scam some free rent more often than not.
My mom and I have a phrase for cases like this. We say, "You sued yourself." When people who are CLEARLY in the wrong drag someone else into court fueled with audacity and delusion and end up owing money instead of getting any.
E collars are just TOOLS. They are great when used properly..any tool can be misused even a leash and flat collar. There is no inherent cruelty to e collars.
My yard has a fence & I go outside with my dogs EVERY TIME! The entire time! I don’t UNDERSTAND no fence & no supervision & we are surprised 😢poor dogs
He's not looking at the judge and he's looking down in addition to shaking his head no when asked yes questions. Yes the renter is wrong, he's also wrong no one has 2 shock collars on their dog unless they don't work. She should have paid rent and he should have paid the vet bill
4:30 What is wrong with people? This idiot screwed herself. You cannot withhold rent for any reason other than the landlord is not maintaining the property in a livable condition. Period.
I see right through this shes acting like her dog got bit so she wont have to pay rent she says she was waiting to see how mush he would give her for the dog bite she planed it allto not pay rent people are so slick but. J. J. Is smarter
It would have looked better for her is she didn't pay rent in the equivalent of the vet bills... Not month after month after mouth. Why is she here that if her landlord isn't sitting sueing her???
I'm not believing the defendant. But I don't think the plaintiff should have stopped paying her rent. Interested to see what the board of health thing is about.
Dogs are basically a nuisance, they smell, bark, most suffer from neurosis , and we are seeing more and more dog attacks on other dogs and people!!! Get rid of them: cats are far less stress: are incredibly clean, and if kept indoors/ they can’t kill any wildlife. DOGS ANNOY NEIGHBOURS ALSO. They should NOT be allowed to be left unattended in backyards : due to their excessive barking etc………
