Renting Lambos to Famous Rappers! 

Several requests here and on other social accounts for the Floyd Mayweather story. Floyd spends a good bit of time in Atlanta and usually travels with a lot of cars and a serious entourage. It is not uncommon to see 4-5 of his exotics parked outside of the Intercontinental Hotel in Buckhead. Lots of VINwiki posts of them. He came by the dealership a few times and it was always surreal. All of a sudden the parking lot would fill with black Escalades, at least 5 or 6 of them and they would start emptying with his bodyguards, family, friends, etc. He would lead the group in and walk up to me with a very specific request - like a white LP640 Roadster. I would offer something like, "I have a good local client with one that is willing to sell, I can have it here tomorrow." His response would always be, "No, I need it right now, if you don't have it here, we are leaving." To this, I would obviously have to reply, "We don't keep every car in every color, so if those are the terms I am afraid we will have to disappoint you. Of course, if I can have it shipped to your house in the next week, anything is available." Within 30-60 seconds that conversation would conclude and he would head to his next stop. Always quick and surreal but reasonably cordial.

My buddy rented his house to Lil Wayne for Super Bowl weekend. He said Wayne came by and was extremely nice , and polite. Funny thing is he spent a lot of money to rent the house for the weekend, and ended up staying in a hotel at night.

I went to Motorcars Of Georgia ( the place this guy used to work at) as someone who couldn't afford anything just to look around. The staff where super understanding and nice towards me ( I thought they would turn me away) and let me stay and look and take pictures as long as I wanted. I don't know if the guy in the vid will see this or not but I am very grateful to his old place of employment for letting me look around.

I met Lil Wayne when I was providing ESU services at the Prudential Center in Newark years ago. Had a 30-minute conversation with the guy, never knew who he was. Thought he was one of the dudes that set up the stage or something. Vaguely recalling the conversation I think he may have inquired as to if I listen to rap music I told him nope country western. In fact I grew bored and ended the conversation. Lol.

I think rappers would be up there with one of the last people I'd want to rent a car to. I always cringe watching rap videos seeing them sitting all over them or having models in there with their feet all over the interior and I'm usually pretty well sure it's rented or borrowed.
