One thing that has become immediately obvious since Kevin McCarthy made his committee leadership appointments is the elevated quality of the people. Congressman Green is another example of the raised standard. Let's hope the Republicans are willing to venture outside the box when it comes to reigning in all this wasteful spending and implementing change.
