Rep. Torres on 'antisemitism monitor' bill: The status quo is fundamentally failing Jewish students

This bill isn’t really about protecting Jewish students but rather about protecting everybody's favorite apartheid state from criticism, hence why they’re using the IHRA’s definition which includes: "Denying the Jewish people their right to self-determination, e.g., by claiming that the existence of a *State of Israel* is a racist endeavor." Meanwhile... “The European Union has led a chorus of criticism after Israel passed a controversial law declaring that only [Insert specific ethnoreligious group here] have the right of self-determination in the country.” - The Guardian

Rep. Torres does not work for the American people. In the last election cycle, his largest contributor was AIPAC, to the tune of $334,568, and as such, he works on behalf of Israel - some would call that a foreign agent. Israel is forever playing the victim card even going so far as to claim antisemitism only exists against Jewish people. Palestinians are Semites too. Over half of Palestine's population is 18 or younger, with only 3% of the population over 65. That means that almost ALL Palestinians have lived in occupation their entire lives. Who are the real victims?
