Repainting 12" figures from Star Trek The Motion Picture, The Black Hole and Moonraker. Decker, Reinhardt and James Bond all suffer from Mego's discolouring issue that turns their figures into pale faced zombies.
What a difference that painting made to the Maximilian Schell figure. Good work. I used to own a Moonraker James Bond figure, but I got rid of him back in the early 90's. He looked dreadful. So grey! 'Zombie looking' is quite an accurate description.
The good thing is the worse the greying, the cheaper they seem to go for. I used to think I had faulty memories that Mego had good likenesses after years of just seeing then with grey heads and thinking "looks nothing like them" then after repainting one I realised that the grey did weird things to how you view them
