This is actually way trickier than I thought. I've managed to wreck one replacement port already. How to get solder to adhere to the holding "legs" by ensuring they're hot enough WITHOUT melting the plastic inside the port?! You made it look so easy!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️- If a 5 star rating were to ever mean anything. All 5 would be yours. You & this video here are by far the best instruction video I've seen heard & understood completely the first time. Thank you kindly 👍🏆🥇
Can you make a video on tips for working the hot air gun? Please also share what kind of lamp you use . Thanks for showing tips on how to solder . This stuff they don’t show at school!
today I lifted my table while a kvm switch was in a bad position between the moving desk and wall, and yanked the micro USB port off the circuit board. Wondering if this is a better solution to purchasing new. I don't have the tools so might be better off replacing :( Thanks for video either way
The board I have has lost the solder in the surface mount pin slots so the micro usb port can’t make a connection, is there way to fill those slots back up with solder?
Just use liquid flux to fill the holes, then put solder on the iron tip and touch it to the holes and the solder will fill them up. Then you can use the hot air to let the part sink in.
Our big goofy fingers look so clunky under any type of magnification. You feel like you are being delicate and gentle then you see how jerky and sloppy your motions are. I always think "Do I really shake that much?"
Sir I wonder if you can please help me I’m disabled and I wanted to know do you have your own company that I can contact for some work done for some medical equipment that I have. How much do you charge and do you have a website that I can go to thank you.
