Hi Leah! How ironic that you just posted a video on texturizing! I’m about to texturize my family room ceiling with the leaf roller! I have all the supplies you posted from the other video and I’m ready to “roll”! LOL! Thank you sooo much for doing these videos! Love you bunches! XOXOX. Kathy

I've used a squeegee for lots of different plaster work applications. They're also FANTASTIC for getting a smooth finish.

Lea, I love your videos, your a very pleasant and informative craftsman. I'm having a problem with a textured roller. It's a flagstone design and it's made of a semi- hard rubber😊. The problem is no matter how thick or thin I put the mud, or hiw hard or gentle the pressure I use I just can't get it right. I also tried dipping the roller in water to dampen it. Any suggestions please😂.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! We now live in a home that walls and ceilings are textured. No holes that need to be fixed yet, but I’m putting this in favorites just in case...

Hi Leah, You're video are excellent and so well done - learning so much. I have 2 bathroom ceiling repairs to do. In my case, the textured area is lifting up form the ceiling. Should I glue it back? Would love you input on how best to make these repairs. Thank you so much!

Hello Kathy, I have never glued a peeling texture back . It may work but again, it's something I have never done.

TIP! If you want even better surface: after a squeegee you can use wrinkled newspaper to tap it over or wrinkled film.

maybe an old paint roller would help for adding texture.
