thanks for your help! ours wasn't a belt but (please don't laugh because i don't know the technical terms) the arm for the pedals somehow jumped off the pin that helps engage whatever that arm is that you can see between the sides of the belt you checked. we never would have thought to pull the battery and its sleeve and look down from that angle, had it not been for this video. 😄
❤That pulley that you had to put the belt back on you might want to think about replacing that since it looked like the other side of the pulley was pretty much melted
