Repair your backflow preventer (Bib Vacuum Breaker) 

So I had an issue where my backflow preventers (Bib Vacuum Breaker) was causing a humming noise that would echo throughout the house which caused a lot of noise. I replace those and it fix the issue, but then I thought what if you just soak them in vinegar like you do a shower head so it can remove the calcium buildup from the hard water and fix the issue and sure did! So before you go out and replace it you may just want to try using vinegar and let it soak for 24 hours.
