Thank you for this video. I know it is old, but I am studying for my EFDA test and I was not understanding the written steps to repair a broken denture. I am so glad that this demo video exists!
I am a dental tech. for 46 years. When we do a repair like that we also feather out out where the repair is to be made This gives a larger area for the repair material to adhere to. This gives a stronger repair.
This is very old video, but I love to see the way it was done back in the day .. True we do repairs, A little different it just depends on the situation, each repair is unique. Modern Technology now is AWSOME
I love the Old Dental Dentures Video’s But we do the Repairs now slightly Different now . Modern Technology has helped sooo Much . Better for us and the Patient 🙏 Thank You
No not really new ones are very expensive ! unless you want to go to a place that makes them cheap and then guess what you’re back in the same boat 🚣♀️
Wow, that's a fascinating process! I've had my upper denture plate in repair 4 times in the 13 years years that I've had it....they go through LOTS of wear & tear through the years. Just got mine back a few days ago, it's as good as new, & I hope it'll last for perhaps another 13 years! I've learned a very valuable lesson with my denture plate....DO NOT bite down on hard candy, it'll crack!
