Here's a short video of roughing out the damage on the 1953 Chevy Truck Grill. This grill was badly smashed and dented and I wanted to try and make it a little more presentable.

I'm a year behind but at least I've got the season right. It's spring and in inticipation of summer everyone seems to be getting their grill prepared for the season. Loved the music on this one.

Thanks, it's debatable whether this truck should be brought back from the dead, but you're correct...once it's gone to the scrapper there's no bringing it back!

Just installing a chinesium grill is an unholy pain, I now have to lock tight all strut and fins as the tiny screws and nuts holding it together are coming loose. I admire your tenacity, well done!

As much as I like the metalwork Lazze does (I think he’s built beautiful vehicles), I really admire what you have done with the damaged vehicles you tackle-they have their own beauty when your work is done. I, personally, would feel great pride if I possessed your skills and could build me a ‘rat rod’. I’ll keep watching!

another brilliant tutorial....you say "i don't know what the point of all this is" ...well you have just shown that because something is bent out of shape don't be slack and throw it out.....make it good again,it's only time. here in australia we have been making do with what you would call rubbish good again because we did not get the cars and trucks in the numbers you guys got....so we have been recycling rubbish for ever. your clips are exactly what i enjoy the most...not remove a rusty piece and replace with a new reproduction cheers joe

Back in the 80's, before the cash for clunkers garbage drained the junkyards dry, my friend went through fifteen yards to get enough straight grill pieces to make one 1948 Chevy truck grill. Looked a lot like yours in fact. I could only image how hard it would be today.
