I used Eastwood's rust guide when doing research. They state " For the best protection, we suggest applying rust encapsulator over the converter and then applying the top coat."
@@AxGaragethe adhesion with the Eastwood sucks. Rust Kutter is by far the best. POR sucks it peels off in sheets even if you chip it, brake fluid will eat it. I've been using Rust-Oleum oils base with an activator, it holds up greats and doesn't chip and remains flexible
