Miss, i am planning on sanding & repairing the rear fiberglass bumper on my 3000gt sl, is a "tyvek suit" really necessary or is that overkill & too exaggerated. ? Thank you

Depends on what type of paint that you are using. You would have to look up the data sheet to know how dangerous it is. Some people have super sensitive skin and wear a suit because fiberglass makes them break out or super itchy. I have no idea your medical history or what you are using. All in all it wouldn't hurt to wear one, but the choice is up to you.
