This is perfect. I called JBL and they said that there was nothing they could do - just throw it away! Unbelievable. This helps tremendously - I was a little concerned about opening this up for repair but it's worth a shot. Many thanks - obrigado!!!
JBL is a bunch of dicks. Same issue on the JBL OnBeat Rumble. They can't understand A/C power adapters & keep using these .29 cent barrel connectors on $300 bluetooth speakers. They're peenoids, humans in penis form. y obrigado Nuno! o video me ajudou!
Excelente tutorial de reparação dessa coluna. Deixo aqui uma pergunta, será possível adicionar umas baterias de modo a que sejam carregadas pelo cabo de alimentação? Algum tipo de controlador de carga para carregar umas lipo ou lion...penso que dá. Se souber onde adquirir esse controlador até alterava a minha. Obg
Boas... Tenho uma coluna exatamente igual... E surgiu-me uma duvida... Como não sou expert em eletronica, gostava de saber se é possivel, através de uma powerbank, tornar esta coluna completamente portatil, ou seja, poder utilizar sem estar ligada à corrente, aplicando uma powerbank... Obrigado
His had a broken power connector on the circuit board. You can see he wiggles the black plastic connection. The sodder conection on the circuit board was not making a electrical connection having no power.

If you mean the grille, it just pops off. Use something to pry up an edge that won't cut the fabric. Once one part is up, it comes off easily. Sadly that's as far as I've gotten in my repair. :)
