I have a 1980 C10 Silverado,my original dash pad was so bad, it wasn't good enough for me to fix. But I went to the junkyard, got another one, that's in. Fair condition, would the coverlay product work?
For some reason, youtube did not notify me of this part of your question. It is a plastic, but it has the feel of the original and it is supposed to expand and retract better than the original.
Wow. I was just given an '84 Chevy k10 and of course the dash is toast, just like yours was in the before shot. I can't wait to try this in a couple months when I start working on the truck. Thanks for putting this information out there and I'll be sure to let you know how it goes.
omg... la mia estaba peor.. yo mismo la repare con acerrin....y barnis de madera.. hice una pasta y tape todos los detalles.. sabes cuanto me costo.. NADA.. solo unos 20 minutos y quedo un 80% aceptable.. saludos
