OZ. I love the way you do video. Swear all you want lol. I'm a 57 year old woman about to change out a @÷%$* ing door handle on my 05 Buick Rendezvous. Plastic piece of Shit. This handle has been replaced 3 times when my mom owned it. I don't go to mechanics. I paid 20 bucks for the handle, where my mom paid hundreds to replace it. Thanks to my mechanically born mind. I come to you for the DIY great video. I'm also a trucker. Thanks OZ. You ROCK
THANK YOU SO MUCH for this video. My 2011 Azera front passenger handle lost the "chrome". Hubby ordered the $20 replacement after viewing this video. Today he replaced the handle in just about an hour. Works like new. Looks great. THANKS AGAIN. Hubby said he could not have done the job without your direction. Two Thumbs Up!!
I can tell by listening to you that your a honest dude, again stop all negativity towards yourself, your words need to keep moving forward, you do a good job in fact you are the first one I've ever subscribed to. Being I just joined hospice I figure I can subscribe now without being hammered with stuff coming back. Have a great day my friend!
Good job! Finally found someone that actually works on a car like mine! Great video too! I'm gonna order the part for the door and install it. This is one of the best Volvo vids I have seen !
I'm in Tacoma Washington I'm 65 years old and I'm going to be doing this myself thank you so very much your video was very very helpful and I enjoyed it thank you wonderful wonderful video
i ordered my new handles and should get them on sunday and im going to do the same thing you did and im sure its going to work great thanks so much as a lady i hate taking my car to get it fixed when i can do it myself its more then just saving money its independence so thanks a million
This video was very helpful to give me an idea of what it's like to replace the interior door handle. I was a bit leery of removing the car door's cover. Now that I see there are just connectors that go to the window controls and speaker, it doesn't seem as intimidating. I may attempt this. Thanks for your detailed video.
Just watched your video, and it was very good. Appreciate the set by step and the close ups. You explained everything perfectly. I live in Conroe and wish you were a little close so I could get you to fix it.. keep,it up you did great.
Great Video! I just ordered a handle for $12 for my sons 2011 Veracruz. Quick question: What was that mini pry tool that you used and where would I get one? Thanks!!
I noticed you didn't open the door from the inside handle that you just replaced. Are the exterior and interior latching mechanisms operating together? But anyways, I appreciate this video and helped me tremendously 😊Thank you so much@
You nailed it bro...doing a fix on the same issue...your vid was awesome thank you, thank you, thank you...what would be a fair price...THANKS GOD BLESS you...from Piedras Negras, Couhuila..
Your vid is kickass, haha curse alot, man be you its why we watch and to learn. You make it fun. Thankyou very much, audio is great 😁 I gotta do this to my 2012 GreatWall X200 so wish me luck. Will let you know how it goes 🤣🤣
Great video Oz! Like that you took your time, explained things, and zoomed in and out. Helps to understand. Good luck and keep em coming. BTW, I'm your 100th like (Thumbs-up) on this video.
Go astros!!! Thanks for sharing this. At the moment I’m waiting on the part, is there anything I can do to open the door? Pull the inside wire? It won’t open from the inside
I think you failed to reconnect the forward wiring harness. That’s ok. I don’t think my 2003 is fancy enough to have one. You are very personable, and if you hadn’t said it out loud several time, no would have noticed the either nerves or the perspiration. Thank you.
In my Subaru Legacy 2012, the interior rear handle is actually attached to the door trim. Plus, there's a specific order to pry off the clips. I'd grab a Haynes or the Service Manual or find something specific to your car. That said, i'm sure it's a pretty damn easy job for any car.
Hey Oz! Great video! Wondering.. Would the broken door handle have anything to do with my power locks working on the driver side? I noticed that the lock was also attached to the handle in your video. And my window doesn’t work. So now I have to climb over the consul to get out of my car, LOL. There is more than four complaints of handles breaking on Hyundai. They said it was a cheap part and some people of had to replace multiple times. What a POS never will buy Hyundai again
