Demonstration on how to replace the standard bulb in a VW Corrado climate control panel with an LED bulb. This would also be applicable for similar era Volkswagen such as MK2 Golf, GTI and Jetta.
The LEDs I used are models designed to replace T5 instrument cluster bulbs. The come in a variety of colors.

Thank you very much for making this video. I really appreciate it. Unfortunately my HVAC switch bulb has been out for over 4 years of owning the car, I never really got around to it, thanks for clearing that up. Also RadioShack 12 volt 60 Ma mili amp bulbs will work just as fine as well. That’s what I’m going to use in green.

Absolutely, actually I did everything you told me to do in this video and for some reason the lightbulb still never lit up, so I’m going to try to recheck my connections and plug it in like you did, before I put everything back together. Hopefully that works. Thanks again.

I’m so glad I found this video. Great job and creative thinking on using the LED light bulb instead OEM. By any chance, do you know what the OEM part number for this corrado dashboard light bulb as well?
