Today I review the quadtratop replacement soft top and rear and side windows kit for the 97-06 jeep wrangler tj from quadratec after 4 years of ownership. Compare it to my 01 TJ factory bestop sailcloth soft top. Talk about the pros and cons of the cheaper tops vs the more expensive versions and talk about the noise level of the top and which top is right for you. Hope you guys enjoy the review and find it helpful. Overall the quadratop is a great bang for buck if your not looking to spend a lot of money on a top and still get a quality top. Hey there! I'm a younger driver, and I've been looking all over the internet for the best advice, tips, and instructions for buying and maintaining a Jeep TJ, and your videos are the best I've found. They are very easy to understand for a beginner like me, and I enjoy watching a handful at a time. I don't know if you'll see this, but I was wondering if you had any advice on what years/editions of TJ's I should look for. I've got about 8000 in my budget and I can drive stick if that helps. Keep up the amazing work!!!!

I've still got my oem, but one of the zippers broke and I've been rocking without an on-site garage so I've been running the hard top. Its been sitting in a moldy garage so I may need a new one.

I own a bestop super top for 18 years now. Only used to in the winter months here in Kuwait which are from October to March. It still holds up very well, the only complaint are the bars for the doors are made out of flimsy plastic which is getting cracked.

Just put on the Smittybilt Premium top. Love it!!!! Way better than stock. Where did you get the zipper pulls? Did they come with the factory top?

My problem has been finding a Besttop or factory top in the sailcloth material in dark tan. It seems these days Spice is the only other color available in the premium material which is not as nice in my opinion. So I will probably have to settle for the regular Besttop which I believe is same material as factory. Do you know if factory tops are sailcloth?

Spice is a great color and is basically a dark saddle tan. Yes the factory tops are a thick sail cloth

$300 for a soft top replacement meanwhile Jeep wants $2000 for a new one for the JL lol

Worst top i have ever owned the top started fraying after a month back window zipper broke after a month and the window had developed a film on the back of it terrible quality i have sent it back once already for the warranty about to do it again. when i get the money im going with best top you get what you pay your video is great but i guess their quality went down hill
