replacing a 89-98 geo tracker timing belt water pump thermostat and fan clutch pt2 

Super helpful! My thermal spring was full of greasy dirt. Ive cleaned it up and it looks well spaced still, should it have grease on the spring? Only asking because it was so greasy id only assume it had grease on it.

That’s awesome about the thermal spring I didn’t know that

The FSM lists 7 foot pounds for the watter pump bolts but they put out a TSB raising it to 12 foot pounds.

Y do u have to change the timing belt when u change the water pump
