The truth is that he drives expensive cars and Miata owners don't... they're just one of the most sporty cars that the average person might've driven. People who get into serious motorsports or drive hard in performance cars are usually very unimpressed by the soft suspension, poor rigidity, and low power... but my 1.6L Miata is still the fastest car I've ever sat in.
i bet that miata owner is happy af he found y'all to get his car fixed up. when i was at the world cup in 2006 i was staying with a german couple living in stuttgart, and the dude had an old miata, like 1990 or something, one of the first ones, and he LOVED that thing. even though he was literally _surrounded_ by porsches and benzs, he said his old miata was the best car in the world...he said said it was so small and light you felt everything, and were completely connected to your surroundings, but the car just wasn't powerful enough to make feel that you could get yourself into serious trouble by accidentally driving beyond your skill. lol, i thought it just looked cold, dangerous, and uncomfortable af. stefan's been a cool addition to the channel! interesting meshing of contrasting personalities involved in awesome projects. the shop is really looking like it's thriving, congratulations!...you deserve it.
4:47 Miata MX-5 calculation haha haha 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 5:33 The Owner of the MX-5 must be depressed right about now 5:36 shehryar telling that the owner is shit
Aw come on. This from a Mercedes lover. I don't think you can even compare the reliability between these. I will say you sure can get a used Mercedes for cheap though :))) I wonder why that is? My Miata can get ragged on all day for 2 plus hours on track and still get me home which is multiple hours away. I would definitely need a trailer for a Mercedes. I will agree that the Miata needs more power.
hes making fun of the miata that he was surprised was so easy to work on and is literally making his own parts to fix all the terrible reliability issues of a mercedes.
@@justjoe7824 and he got rid of another mercedes because it had too many electronics and stupid stuff that broke all the time lol I really like his content but i don't understand what he likes on mercedes cars, i'd never own one even if someone paid me!
@@CactosS me either, but still. You can get a torque guage that's actually a short extension with fine metal strips glued to it and depending on the twist of the extension it will close up more of the strips. They aren't 100% accurate either but you could use one of those as the last extension and get a torque reading at the bolt and at the handle to see the difference. Would be interesting.
Absolutely love the roasts on the car. Just as suggestion. Before putting the f1 engine into the chassis, just try to fit it into the miata and see how it is.
Damn, this dude constantly bitchin & moanin about Miatas takes me back to high school when dudes thought they were cool if they only liked certain rides 😂
The sleeve attached to the front input shaft cover on my miata is shattered and worn down. Finding a replacement has been a pain in the ass. I just wanted to see if anybody else had that issue or not and clearly they fuckin don't lol happy trails
@@magnetic0314 but its already better than everything else, which is why people like them. You dont need to change the suspension on a Lotus or Porsche for it to be good.....
If you think a miata or MX5 is a bad car , you need to drive some more cars ,,like hyundai ,toyota, vauxhall , renault, daewoo or mitsubishi entry level cars..
Not sure if the owner is a good friend of yours and fine with the shit talking, but as far as running a business it's fucking disgraceful to be talking that much shit on a customers car. The arrogance was always there, but now it's too much to watch.
Funny how you talk about Miata's, they're a great beginner cars and are cheap and easy to work on. Unlike a Mercedes, expensive cars with expensive parts .🙁
Miatas are not bad but teens buy them and they don't have the know-how to fix them or the money so they trash them with stupid mods like hot air intakes and every useless performance mod ever instead of doing basic maintenance and actually making their car drive well. It's a japanese economy car so it's pretty low maintenance and low complexity and easy to work on. Unfortunately the hype around it draws the wrong crowd. Actually that being said you should be thankful that miatas exist as a meatshield between the noobs and better cars, like would you rather have some dork ruin a good mercedes or a miata?
He is shitting on Miatas IN GENERAL, he doesn't like them ok - does that disqualify him from doing the job? Job itself was well done and the customer was happy, so stop trying to act shocked you weak little flower.
@@plumberman19 Act like a grownup and address the topic in hand not try to attack me. And your ''guarantee'' just failed - I have been running a business for over 5 years now and its growing. You have a naive look on running businesses.
@@M3LKS Relax mate. It just doesn't seem like the usual videos from this channel. Usually they show great engineering ideas and solutions, fabrication, CAD, Composite parts...etc Just show your great work and the satisfied customer's reaction. There is no real need for all the rest of it.
Dude, so much unnecessary hate for a little car from such a little guy lol. I fucking love my Miata, that car saved me from depression. Just fucking LISTEN to how HAPPY this guy sounds, and you seriously want to bag on that? Love your content, but your ego really shines through in this one.
