Small correction: The voltage mod adjusts the VDDR power rail for the GPU. It does not affect VRAM power delivery. Either way, skipping this step = bad.
Just got the system and it's working like a tank I'm gonna enjoy playing everything on this still thank you so much for fixing my console in this video!!!
Its always been a dream to have one of these things work without being defective so thank you so unbelievably much for fixing this unit for me you did a perfect job and learned a lot more about how it all gets modded. im going to love this thing your the best!!!
Awesome work man very impressive. How are you reballing without covering the RSX and not turning it into popcorn? Would you be kind enough please to share your profiles?
My machine is custom built so my profile likely won't work for you. You're gonna need to practice with your own machine on junk boards to get the correct profile. Also to avoid popcorning you will need to dry the motherboard in an oven at 100-120C for 12 hours. Once you do this, the oven should never be used for food again.
@@Sampsonay Thanks for the reply. I know your exact profile won't work but I was wondering if you could share please just to give me an idea on your temps and process. Something like this L1 0 d1 360 r2 1.00 L2 190 d2 30 r3 1.00 L3 200 d3 25 r4 1.00 L4 210 d4 25 r5 1.00 L5 220 d5 25 r6 1.00 L6 230 d6 25 r7 end hb 230. I asked for help on psxplace but nothing has really worked yet. I've modifed my bga machine too. Lol I was going to use my oven before you said that. I've just bought a 48L electric oven so ill use that
