Replacing a water outlet for a 2010 Mazda 6 

🔧🔩🏆 This is a 5-star video for replacing the coolant pipe on the Mazda 2.3 engine. I looked at several similar videos, but they weren't showing the brass nut on the firewall side of the distribution pipe and that had me worried because nobody else mentioned it. I really appreicate that you did not include any of the distracting "background music" as you worked. 🙄 When I hear any music in a how-to DIY video I immediately move on and look for another video. Thanks for sharing and showing so much detail. This should work for my Mazda3 2.3 Grand Touring.

Thank you thank you thank you. Fixed my Mazda yesterday. Video was perfect. Had some issues with AutoZone and those hoses were tough....but we're back on the road!!!

Saw some leaking from that area just now, my Mazda six does have a high miles, this video was excellent.

I bought the part but now I see this isn’t happening. Thank you for showing me that I cannot do this on my own. Guess I will tow to a shop. I thought it was a simple replacement🤪

Can you share with us where you purchase your parts from because I’m having the same issue with a broken outlet but my local Mazda dealer can’t get me the outlet housing with a screw in thermo sensor only a clip in but they don’t have the clip in sensor either. Thank you

I had a leak for like three years it just got worse .. I have a 2013 generation two body style 2.5 l Same exact water outlet too.. I can see it now where it's coming from one of the lower bolts from the water outlet housing ..my car is running totally on distilled water For the past few days.. Got all the parts and I'm about to do it maybe tomorrow or the next day depends how I feel my temperature at idle in the study 198° even when it's 115 out , yeah that's the main reason why I'm putting it off not much of a choice I live in my cars in Desert heat. So I got all the parts hopefully it's just a gasket nothing's cracked but I still bought the extra parts just in case I don't have to run and walk miles to the parts store But yeah I've been putting it off past few days but I'm still driving it the fascinating thing is the temperature gauge that's built into the dashboard by the dealer hasn't gone past half temperature even when it was at 230° once .. I have it in Dash OBD two radio that I installed at the market by Pioneer NEX 4400 radio With a maestro RR so I could see the exact temperature ,voltages and 😂everything... So people don't believe your manufactures water temp gauge.. Mines not budged from the half mark it does go to cooler.. I wonder what would set off it to go higher ,, wharpt 260 maybe... Which would be ridiculously high and damage your motor...

thanks to your video, ive done most of taken apart from my mazda 3. just some trouble with hose clip. but if its leaking on the driver side, is it most likely the water gasket? upon removing the hoses and getting a better visual theres literally a puddle underneath it.

You said they don't sell the gasket by itself they do its 4$ At any parts store you might have to order it ahead of time

you could show where and how to drain the coolant ... because I don't know.

May I ask what was going on at first,my car needs fixing and I think it that do you have video of what was going on to it was it over heating? Would water come out? Cuz that's what's going on to mine

mine just started leaking again... didn't even make it a year.. I did pressure test and everything went out today so huge puddle
