My brother got some quickjacks lmao. No more car falling off the jacks. Just messin'. I sold my RCF and just picked up a C7 Z06 too. The F was just too slow after a year. Three years passed and it felt like a Corolla. Love to row through gears again. I crossed shop for a f90 m5 as well and a m8 but just felt too stale, and no manual was the deal breaker. I'll live vicariously through your videos though! Much love

Nice job :D Have heard that you should tighten the bolts when you have set the car down. or put a jack under there and lift the disc up. Then they won't wear out as quickly as they will now.

this is crucial. new parts can make noise as if they’re bad if you don’t follow this step. especially with the torsion arms.

Jack stands when you are under, those lifts can at times become weird...

I like Bullet and always followed him. You spent around 11K on the GS F to enhance it. You will probably utilize that same 11k for repairs on this thing...These cars are so nice looking and performance driven however with a lot of drama.Well at least it will make for a lot of interesting videos...

Bro really traded in the Japanese luxury and reliability for a never ending slurry of German engineered problems. RIP ex - Lexus brother😭. This video sums it up well, he bought the car less than a month ago and it ONLY has 58k miles and he already needs a new part for the control arm assembly, I couldn't even fathom that in my GS F. Your wallet is definitely in for a world of hurt man.

To each their own. The gsf had it's own quirks that bothered me. The power from the m5 is why I got it.
@CreamyCraigTV
@CreamyCraigTV Год назад
@@BulletsGarage I totally understand what you mean by the GS F having it's annoying quirks but if all I wanted was "the power of an m5" then I'd just supercharge my 2ur-gse for around 10k/mix my own e30 for cheap and be making close to 600hp, which is more than the m5 but with the reliability of a Lexus. Lexus forums are pretty adamant that a GS F/RC F can be supercharged with the RR racing kit with damn near stock internals and have very minimal issues in the long run, realistically all you need is a better intake/tubing and high flow exhaust. They don't say Lexus is bulletproof for nothing...

@@CreamyCraigTVrr racing superchargers are making 700+hp these days for about the same money...
@CreamyCraigTV

@@dvaritek434 yeah if you go e85/stage 2+ but I would definitely be ok with a modest 600 running e30 on a street tune

@@CreamyCraigTV I see what you mean. Yeah im talking crank and you are talking wheel. Their stage one kit gets 580+ whp on pump gas.

@@BulletsGarage Yes, the M5 is superior as a driving machine. But it will cost more and have more issues. It is to be expected when you step up to higher performance vehicles. But you get more fun, and we get more content. It's a win-win!

@@BSGSV I'm so tired of hearing this higher performance excuse for BMW vehicles. They're generally design flaws. Like you go to fix the problem and you are left scratching your head as to why someone would design it that way. They know most people who buy BMWs lease them, so their focus is absolutely not on the ownership experience since there aren't that many owners. People have been using this excuse about BMWs for decades when they only made a little over 300hp. You telling me you can't get a reliable car that has over 300hp?
@BulliKid
@BulliKid Год назад
This car is 550+ hp. Lexus gsf wasn’t even close. And to make more power on lexus you need to add forced induction which the aftermarket or limited and over 8k plus. This by far will have more potential for the cost factor then lexus ever will. Lexus is decent car but need big pockets to dive into more power.

Glad it was pretty straightforward to fix (although I imagine that control arm would have cost a few bob!). Incidentally, and I hope you dont think Im trying to teach you how to suck eggs, Ive noticed in your videos that you do a lot of 'dry steering'. This puts huge stress on all steering components including ball joints and has become much more of a problem since power steering become common place. Without power steering, it usually took too much effort to turn the steering wheel at a standstill, so it was more natural to use the best practice of only turning the steering wheel when moving....even if this is just inching forward, or backward, with the wheels barely turning. To demonstrate this, you just have to try turning the steering wheel with the engine off and therefore no power assist. That will give an idea of how much force is being exerted by the power steering system on the steering components to overcome the drag from the static tyres. I only mention this, not to be a smart ass, but for you and others to get much more life out of these expensive components (including power steering pumps and motors as well as ball joints etc).

Thank you I absolutely agree with you the steering as heavy as it is so I can only imagine how much the power steering pump is working to move those big wheels at a standstill. I will definitely avoid doing that going forward.
