Replacing Battery in my Harley Davidson Street Glide Special - Pro tip! I do a quick battery replacement on my Harley Davidson Street Glide Special. The pro tip makes reattaching the battery terminals so much quicker and easier.
It's been almost a year or more since I cranked up my bike. It was madness trying to get the battery in. I came across your video and bingo. Using the little cardboard as an assist was the key. Thanks 😊 ❤👍🏿🔥💯
Thanks Eric..... good to know that a little trick can come in handy for someone else as well! Many screwdrivers shorting on bike frames taught me there had to be a better way!
Hey mate always negative first this eliminates the chance of shorting out the positive when your undoing it, by doing the positive first you have the chance of you spanner or socket touching part of the frame and shorting out. Also another way instead of cardboard is a bit of grease or vaseline to hold the nut there 👍🏻
Lol, I usually only remember after struggling for about 1/2 an hour first, sweating and swearing! There is evidence in my out-takes. Thanks Rob, hope your having a good ANZAC weekend.
+Big Bert thanks Bert. I started with a screwdriver years ago, but a few accidental contacts between the positive post and the frame made me think of something a little more insulated. Enjoyed you gold hunting vids mate.
