replacing Case 580C rear brake seals 

Hi, that little seal is for the cross shaft to seal oil from the diff lock shaft . Likely have to also change the bushing. To do that the diff has to be taken apart!

Good information. I am having trouble finding the part numbers for the seal kit. If you have the numbers please share.

do you have to take the plate off to get to that seal? It seams that there is only one screw holding the plate on my case 580B. cant even get the screw out, frustrated any help?

How did you get it off. I'm trying right. Now.
