Replacing Deployed Air Bags On A 2016 Silverado Z71 Pickup Truck

We ran into a little issue while trying to replace the steering wheel air bag. We weren't aware that we also had to replace the clock spring. Once the clock spring was replaced we moved onto replacing both curtain airbags and seat belts. Like Comment Subscribe

This vehicle was purchased back in 2016 brand new from the dealer. Wasnt bought from copart. You should give it a try and rebuild something 👌👌

Besides replacing impact sensor and reset the airbag module, we arent sure if you can turn it off any other way

We recently found out that was one of our issues. The second reason is both of the front impact sensors.

@@SmoovD yea they melt on and its hard to remove without breaking. Myairbags.com carries the plugs for about 12$

@@SmoovD we were going to try to fix them but decided to replace the clock spring just to be safe because thats what sets the airbag off. What year is your truck?
