My 2011 Ram 3500 was having similar issues... hard to start, key was "loose" once inserted into the WIN, repeated issues with engine code U1421 and Implausible Ingnition Code. Called and spoke to Victor and he answered all my questions. Ordered the part for at 3pm, delivered the next day by 10AM! Installation took 10 minutes and worked perfectly!!!! And my persistent check engine light has turned off to boot!!! Can't thank these guys enough!!!!!

I ordered my win box two days ago fast shipping one day to Canada. and put it in today in a snow storm and started up first attempt and seems to start quicker then before. 2012 dodge Cummins with manual transmission. I brought the truck used and dealership said the truck didn't come with keyless entry pods, but it does have power locks. Since I'm changing the ignition switch, is it possible to get keyless entry pods made with the new switch.

So I'm a little confused. If all I'm doing is replacing the module and using the original keys. Do they need to be programmed? Or is the programming to the BCM/ECM? I know with new keys, they require programming.

Have a 3500 2017…dash was taking apart to replace the heater doors and clean the heater core, when they put it back together the key fob was having issues connecting. All the buttons work, but I have to press the key to the push button start to start it, and if I open the door, it says can’t detect key fob. I changed the battery on the fob, didn’t work. Took it to a key fob repair place and they attempted to reprogram a new ram key to the truck, and the truck won’t detect it either. He said the issue is not the key, it’s something with the truck and receiver. But again, the buttons on the key fob work, it just doesn’t wireless detect it now. Do you know what the issue may be?

Can your module work for my 2010 charger pursuit with police package? I have one working key but remote functions don’t work and the dealer told me today I’d need to replace the win module has all 8 spots filled due to keyed alike program from factory. I was under the impression the keyed alike could be chance to retail function then I could have keys programmed. I just need a backup key and would be nice to have remote functions working. 😊

Can you please tell me where I can purchase one already programmed? I have a 2011 Grand Caravan & am 99.9% my WIN module needs to be replaced. A small piece of plastic fell out of it exposing a contact or some other metal on the left side of the insert hole. I put it back in place & after multiple tries inserting & removing the FOBIK (key), I got it to start. Right now I'm leaving the key IN the WIN when I shut it off & locking it w/ another one (got a bandanna hanging from the dash to cover it up discretely. I am having a lot of trouble finding one that is already programmed for me to install. I've reviewed my Haynes Manual & the process is pretty much as simple as your video for the RAM, so I know I'm capable of doing the repair.

I replaced my wireless ignition Nod module for 2012 dodge ram 1500 with generation 3 module. The new ignition mod turns on the dash lights ect, however the truck will not start. I put the original ignition nod module back in and the truck did start. When I put the new nod in I remember seeing a note saying wrong key. Does the old key have anything to do with the new ignition nod module. My Vin is 3C6JD6AP2CG206791

I have a 2011 Ram 1500 ST. I called my local dealer to see if my truck has keyless entry. They checked it with the vin and said that it does not have the equipment for it. Will this WIN module give me keyless entry? I have power locks so I assume that it is possible.

Hello, I have a 2011 ram 2500.. my ignition module is definitely bad.. it's been acting up for a long time. I went on your website and it appears the kit I need is $599 no programming required. I did find new ignition modules online for $150 which will need programming from the dealer ship.. I have no clue how much the dealer charges for programming.. here is my honest concern.. like I said I have no clue how much the dealership charges for programming.. here is my question, please take no offense.. am I paying a couple hundred xtra to avoid the inconvenience of getting the truck to the dealership? If the dealership say charges $100 i,d probably deal with the inconvenience. Dont get me wrong your kit is awesome, easy install no programming

They cannot use your original Fobik remotes. You will have no warranty since you are not buying it from them. You are not comparing apples to apples. Our kit is the latest generation, 3 year warranty unlimited miles.

@@FloridaHardwood no need to pay 599 that's ridiculous expensive. You can buy one new on ebay for 100 bucks with 2 year warranty and the dealer will installed for around 150.

Remove the conector from the back of the WIN and reconect, if still doesn't turn you will need to replace the WIN. www.autotechelectronic.com/win-module-kits-page-2/

@@AutoTechElectronic mine has the push button, which i can pop out and use the fobik instead, it also has remote start which suddenly stopped working a while back- this was the first reason i had considered replacing the win module, recently however, the module wont release the button, i actually broke my start button trying to pry it out, this is now my second reason to replace the win module, im actually ready to order one im just not sure what ill have to do about my fobiks?

@@AutoTechElectronic if i replace the win module, oem mopar, will i need new fobiks also? or will i need to have my current fobiks reprogrammed? and if i may ask one more question, is it possible that a failing win module could cause my remote start to stop working? (im aware theres a whole list of other things that could cause remote start to not work)

I am also having issue with my 2010 dodge RAM 1500 truck. After installing a new win module do the keys need to be reprogrammed to the new module? As the local dealership says it needs to be flashed for proper set up.

The win needs to be replaced along with the fobik remotes. Our win kits come already programmed to vin. Comes with 2 fobik remotes and 3 year warranty.

3/14/24: HI. So, it’s already programmed? We were told it needs to be programmed. ??? Help please. It was doing all you showed and now fuel pump motor stays on too, so we have to unplug battery to completely shut it down. Sometimes it starts sometimes it doesn’t. The last couple days it has not started. It wants to but won’t turn over. We had a diagnostic and they said that the alternator, the starter and the full pump Everything is OK, the batteries OK. It’s the ignition switch module that needs to be changed. And told it control fuel pump motor too. But they wanna charge over a couple grand. HEPL PLEASE
