Like the stance. Interested if you'll need to modify the arm length at all.

Have you done a full video on the bulldawg top? I’m really considering ordering one of their tops!

I did an unboxing video and getting it installed on my TJ but I haven't done a full review video yet, I'll be doing that soon.

You need to drive it a bit for a while to get the correct measurements after replacing the coil springs. Great video.. enjoyed watching it

You are correct and I've put about 500 miles on those springs now, I should go out and measure them again.

I really appreciate your video. I watched it a number of times. When you replaced your front springs about 10 months ago, would it have work better for you if you had disconnected the sway bar links, disconnected the lower shock mounts and then raised the jeep and finally removed both tires and wheels? Please let me know. Thank you.

LOL I couldn't remember and I had to go watch the video to see what you were talking about. I don't show but I also go around with my Craftsman Torque Wrench and torque each lugnut to spec afterwards.

Thinking about doing this on my JL without have to rent the coil compression tools from O'Reillys... I wonder if the rear is as easy.

Looks like to remove the rear springs all you have to remove are the bottom shock mount and sway bar link? And they should pop out?? My springs have where someone replaced one and left one . So I’ll put new ones on.
@RustyAutoholicGuy
@RustyAutoholicGuy Год назад
Yes that is correct and you might need to push down on the rear axle a little bit and they should come out.

Great video Grant, though I was surprised you don't have a Dana 44 with disks on that rear axel. I'll be interested in seeing your comments on ride stiffness once you get back on the road.

So the rear axle was for Postal Jeeps, it’s got 3.73 with a Limited Slip Differential which works really well. I keep meaning to upgrade to disk brakes but just haven’t gotten that far yet.

Grant, great video, thinking of doing the same. You mentioned Moog parts, they offer 3 total option for the front & 2 options for the rear. Do you buy chance remember the part numbers? Thanks in advance.

Why would you replace your coil springs if they were not broken or pitted? coil springs don't lose their strength, they are steel.
@RustyAutoholicGuy
@RustyAutoholicGuy Год назад
Two reason, first the original springs had over 200K on them, though that by itself is not a reasons to replace them. The springs I replaced them with were made by OME and provide a better ride and comfort compared to the original springs.

They eventually sag. They don't last forever, the are steel.

Springs absolutely lose their ability to support the vehicle, especially if they have 200000 miles
