Sorry I don’t recall what size. To be honest I don’t tend to register what size tools are used, if one tool doesn’t fit I’ll try another. Will try and recall what I’m using for future videos though. However if you removed one screw the others are all the same size? You may find that the screw has seized, if so spay with WD-40 overnight and try again. Good luck 🤞
Video tutorials were excellent! Unfortunately, I misplaced one of the plate covers. I just can’t figure out where it could have gone. Can a plate cover be purchased at a bike shop?
I doubt a bike shop would have something like this. Your best bet would be to contact the scooter manufacture. Or better still search 👀 for the lost one. It must be there somewhere, fallen down the sofa? Behind the fridge? 😩
I got the x8 today and it's very good but the back tire seems abit soft. Is it ment to be softer then the front tire? I tried pumping it but it seems to be fully pumped
You'll probably find both front and back need air. By the time the scooters arrive there isn't much air left in them. Use a track pump and pump up to about 35-40psi.
@@HorizonMicromobility I pumped the back one again and it says it's near 38-40 pressure. It still seems slightly soft. Not sure if it's designed like that. Was your back one pumped solid?
Yup - where did you purchase it from? They should have been pumped up or checked before they were dispatched. Is it a UK model, does it have the UK charger?
@@HorizonMicromobility UK yes. It was brand new. Can still ride the scooter and getting upto 17mph. It's just not as solid as the front tire. Well it's inbetween solid and soft lol. Strange
Thanks so much for this video. Got my flat tyre fixed. The braking system was not letting me get the tyre out smoothly but forced it however it went in easily at the time putting it all back together. Greetings from most overwhelming place on earth i.e. Mumbai India. I fear one my jealous colleague pricked the tyre because rest were pretty curious and then dismissive of the kick scooter. Here in mumbai and rest of Indian cities city councils have lost all their autonomy due to far-right neo-liberalism at its peak and hence people are forced to move out in the distant suburbs and commute using cars and motorcycles to become less and less efficient whilst running their health and pollute the city. Governments led by far-right-wingers and neoliberals of no calibre are merely pushing for metro trains without investing in public rental housing, existing and credible public transportation nor last mile connectivity.
Most people - in fact all people - know full well how to put a wheel back on that they've just taken off. People are here wanting to know how to take the wheel off in the first place 🤷♂️
