Instructional video on how to replace the canvas on your Jumping Jack Trailer.
Tools Needed:
Phillips Screwdriver
Rubber Mallet

Step 1 - Remove the tent package from the trailer and lay it on the ground. Unzip the Tent Bag and set up the tent like normal.
Step 2 - Remove all loose items from the inside of the tent, including but not limited to the following: all personal items, cushions, bed extensions, accessories, and carpet. If you have an older trailer, you may want to remove the attached bed extension frames but it is not required to do so.
Step 3 - Remove the Phillips Head screws from the front and back Flex Rod, Unclip the two black plastic buckle tethers near the door and table, and remove the fiberglass rods on the left and right of the tent. Do not get rid of these items as they will be needed to use with your new canvas.
Step 4 - Set the tent down like you normally would, but leave it unfolded. You will now remove the flex rods. Starting on the door side, use your mallet and gently tap towards you on the “T” of Flex Rod, where it connects to the tent frame. With the Flex Rod removed from the frame, use one of your Side Straps and secure it around the uprights of your tent frame to prevent it from rising up while you are working on it. Repeat the process on the back Flex Rod. With the Flex Rods removed from the Frame, and the frame strapped down, you can now remove the Flex Rod from the canvas.
Step 5 - Carefully remove the tent frame from the tent by lifting the tent frame on end and taking out the door. This will require two people.
Step 6 - Make sure your Tent Bag is laid out flat on the ground, and then lay the new tent out flat over the tent bag. Make sure the corners of the tent are put into the corners of the tent bag. You can now begin to reinsert the tent frame into the new canvas. You will want to stand the frame up on its side, and enter the frame in through the door, in the same manner that you removed it. Make sure that the table side is going in first. Once it is inside the canvas, lay it flat on the floor of the tent.
Step 7 - From the inside and outside of the tent, straighten out the tent floor. Pay attention to the corners of the tent frame and tent floor. Try to get all the corners lined up with each other as best as possible before moving to the next steps and setting up the tent.
Step 8 - Unclip the Side Strap on the table side of the tent frame, not allowing the tent frame to rise up. Slide the flex rod into the sleeves of the tent and insert the “T” of the flex rod through the neoprene and onto the square U-‐shaped part on the tent frame. Use your mallet to tap it into place. Note: do not pinch the canvas material in between the connecting parts. Repeat the process on the door side.
Step 9 - Set your tent up, being careful not to pull the Flex Rod off of the tent frame, and replace the two Flex Rod screws. Use Red Thread Locker to prevent the screw from coming loose later on.
Step 10 - Replace the fiberglass rods and Side Straps on the left and right of the tent and re-clip the tent tethers. Put the tent back down and zip it into the Tent Bag. Place the tent package back into your trailer.
Step 11 - With the tent back in the trailer, you will want to open back up again and replace all of your bedding, personal items, accessories, and carpet. This will make it easier to get the tent package back into the trailer without all the extra weight.
