Does the locking mechanism from a mazda 6 2003 fit on a mazda 6 2006 ?i have to get rid of it because of rust so now i want to take as much parts as i can from the 2003 to put on the 2006 mazda.
Thanks for the anwser.i took my panel of and noticed the big conector at.3:50 was nog plugged in,when i pluged it in te door locks started to close and open en made weird noises.what can i do ?@@downtheshedwithbyron
Great, my old left front actuator was broken I did replacement but new one is not working properly, when I lock doors this door is unlocking do you know why is this happening, thank you

Do you know what is the purpose of that smaller white thing with blue and black wire? What are they for? Because i blught wrong door lock without that slot, there is slot only for bigger one 🤦♂️ i thought that is for connecting driver door with others when u use remote locking, because from that point when i installed it, driver doors couldnt be locked/unlocked on remote, i had to do that with key, and all other doors worked on remote, and i was doing that for like 1 year, but now i have new problem, when i unlock on remote, driver doors will get locked and all other will be unlocked, i dont know how to fix that, where is problem..
Yep, I did. It is really simple, if you can do what is on this video, you can replace lock cylinder too :) There is only one screw holding the cylinder, then you need to turn it like 15-20 degrees clockwise, and thats it :)
hey mate, i got a mazda 6 2006 model. all doors lock, but the front passenger doesnt respond to the remote locking/ turning the key in the drivers door, so i have to manually flick the lock from the inside of the car before i lock the car from the outside. is this an issue with the wiring of the car?
