If you are going to do a full brake job on an Audi A4 B8 or VW Passat this three part video series should be helpful. It demonstrates how to replace both the front and rear brakes on an Audi B8 generation (2008-2016) which also includes the Volkswagen Passat models. In order to replace the rear brake pads the caliper must be put in service mode to recess the piston. I prefer to use the Autel scan tool MS906BT though the job can be done several different ways.
