Vielen Dank, hat super funktioniert. Ist noch einfacher direkt mit dem Lagerbock auszubauen und dann im ausgebauten Zustand den Lagerbock wieder am neuen Lenker montieren. Und ein weiterer Tipp: Wird nur ein Querlenker getauscht, so muss der Stabi auf der anderen Seite NICHT gelöst werden. Danke, weiter so👍
Ich hatte mir die Traggelenke aus den USA mitgebracht, soweit ich mich erinnere warendas sogar verstärkte, der einbau war recht einfach, wenn man den Alulenker im Backofen auf 150 Grad erhitzt und das auf -20 Grad im Tiefkühlfach abkühlt geht das Gelenk fast wie von selbst in den Lenker.
Die beiden inneren Querlenkerlager sind gummigelagert und müssen deshalb im belasteten Zustand festgezuogen werden. Das heißt, erst vormontieren, dann das Auto auf die Rädern stellen und dann mit Drehmoment festziehen.
A jack can help raise the front knuckle/strut/tie rod, as needed. I'm not sure if letting the knuckle hang is good for the associated components. the mount bolts look like self-tapping bolts - can't find these easily. Be careful to note - Jürgen marks the little tab on the eccentric bolt.

Hi Jurgen, I have watched a few of your videos and you are impressively meticulous. I wonder if you could help me with finding an alternative auxiliary water pump for a 1988 Porsche 944 Turbo. The factory pump is very expensive and I note that some Bosch pumps look very similar. Could you recommend one please ? Many thanks, Godwin
Hi, you mean the electric pump for the turbo. I think a friend managed once to repair it, you may try. If another pump could be used as replacement I don't know, but I think it should be possible, the function is simple and the connector could be adapted. Greetings Jürgen

+Jake Hi, officially is no was to repair the wishbone. There are repair kits for the normal 944 aluminum wishbones, but I had a late wishbone from 1994, where the repair kit doesn't fits. The late wishones, mainly from the 968 (but they have the same ordering number at Porsche) cannot be opened without milling part of it away, the joint is pressed in the wishbone. I still have the wishbone, maybe once in winter time I'll try to open it. Greetings, Jürgen
