I'm always curious about people who will watch as a character in a show murders a person in cold blood, and they're like "meh", but heaven forbid a character kills an animal! I must avert my eyes and turn off the speakers until it's over! What a screwed up, backwards world we live in!

I agree with you, the Lucifer parts were what kept me watching this one.

Saw which episode it was, debated with myself if i want to see your reaction to this one, remembering the puppy. Then I just really had to know if you'd fall for the twist. It's a vicious one...

I always wondered if Sam's Hallucifer might be a bit connected to the real Lucifer. Because there was that one scene in season 5 where Castiel talked to Raphael's catatonic vessel to contact him. Not that we've ever seen anything else like that.

Great reaction, I felt the same about the case of the week, but the Lucifer stuff I loved. He's such an ass but so charismatic.

I have a question because I have seen the same reaction from other people to the scene with the dog. I get it. In real life I don’t want to hear about any kind of cruelty towards innocent animals and pets full of trust. But when it comes from fiction and I never see the same concern about human beings but especially women been tortured and killed off like it is natural or something we are used to from these tv shows, how aren’t we moved or troubled in the same way? In this same episodes women are been murdered for no reason but it is the death of the dog that is purposeful used as a way to stop the audience to feel any kind of sympathy we previously developed toward Jeffrey (guest star Russell Sams) so that Dean and Sam can kill him. It makes me feel uneasy if I think about it. It’s fictional so if I don’t feel too much concern about the women then why should I feel horror for the dog? I’m not trying to be confrontational or politically or anything, I am genuinely confused. I have an analytical mind so when things don’t add up I ask questions.
