Philadelphia 76ers free agency rumors on a Kevin Durant trade: Per ESPN’s Zach Lowe, Daryl Morey is going to be “a vulture” in trying to pry Kevin Durant away from the Phoenix Suns. The Athletic on Kevin Durant:
“Meanwhile, Durant, among the best scorers in NBA history, was not always happy with how he was used. Sources briefed on the matter told The Athletic that Durant never felt comfortable with his role in Phoenix’s offense alongside Booker and Beal this season. Those sources said Durant had persistent issues with the offense, feeling that he was being relegated to the corner far too often and not having the proper designs to play to his strengths as the offense was built around pick-and-rolls. At the same time, some teammates and people close to the organization believed Durant needed to voice his concerns more adamantly and directly with Vogel and his coaching staff.”

Then you don’t want win. Age is irrelevant. It’s performance over the next 3 years with embiid. role players don’t get it done when you play teams that have legit scorers and stars. Embiid gets hurt or trapped… then you think oubre saving you?? Maxey and some other role guy? You NEVER turn down a player of that caliber who is exactly what you need. Durant at 35 is better than literally the majority of the league! So what if in 3 years he’s washed. If you win in 2 years , mission accomplished

If Morey trades for KD I’m with this team until he is gone, period. I’m tired of these old short term players. The playoffs should have shown EVERYONE that drafting correctly and building your roster is what is needed for short and long term success. We have Maxey and Embid and he should be building from there. This star hunting crap is old and hasn’t worked. Paying for Paul George at a reasonable price should be as far as he should go at this point.

KD would not be happy, but he's never happy. I would do it, if you can get some good bench guys like a Oubre to return, a Payton. It would have to be a 3-team trade in my opinion, but if you could and then could get 2-3 solid bench guys that is a solid team if everyone is healthy. Good thing about KD is even though he is miserable, he still does his job.

that KD trade might be closer to not surreal if nobody in the suns organization watched any Sixer game. dmelt's back might end his career, buddy is as reliable as a goodwill toaster, and tobi? cmon dude, really? maybe the suns do this with every draft asset we have, RC4, BBall Paul, and KJ. Sixers should keep their assets and just spend on guys like claxton, okoro, okeke, kcp, monk, valanciunus, et al. lots of FA avail at 10-20m. we have two monsters on the offensive end, and too many chefs spoil the gravy. 3 and D, and rebounding will get us a real chance at a chip

Yeah he’s washed averaging 27,5 and 5. You might not like him personally but you don’t watch much if you think he can’t play anymore. Still a top 20 player in the league. Way better than Paul George. Plus you’re talking a two year deal for an old guy or a 4 year max for George. We are gonna do something stupid might as well be for a true marquee player like KD or even LeBron and Bronny. Better than the other guys we are looking at.

KD didn’t have a problem with the suns. He average 27 ppg on 52.3% shooting. He did what was expected of him regarding his reputation as one of the best offensive players in this league. In fact Booker also played well. The only thing the suns suffered from was rebounding and defense. KD + some rebounders and good defenders will get us to the dream
