Gosh, from your reaction to the plant, I can see how much you just love them, thank you for that, it brought a big smile on my face and now I learnt how to water my alocasia slowly, not in big quantities at once. I am still struggling with mine, but I am learning. Thanks for this video, soooooo helpful those roots were amazing.
YAAAAAAAAAY! Good to see you give your monster of a baby a new a very accommodating home! I know it is very relieved to be able to stretch her roots out a bit and not be so cramped. She looks happier already! Awesome job plant mommy!
My elephant ear plant grew progressively smaller leaves and is now growing flowers, not growing any new leaves, and not dropping any leaves. The stems are upright and the leaves are green. What is going on? How do I propagate my regal shield or get a bushier plant?
I just purchased one at a nursery and it’s full of bugs 😩...I was thinking of repotting before bringing it inside. Thanks for the idea on how to do this.
WOWWW!!! THose Plants are AMAZING!! I hAve 3 elephant Ears, and they are Big... But Not Huge! Lol!! I can’t Wait til mines look like urs. How long did it take to get it so Big???
Oh my gooodd your alocasia looks amazing!!! Btw you’re so funny and I literally saw myself ahahaha. How do you keep alocasia so healthy i had a cuprea and it dropped all the leaves from my mothers wrong watering skills, another one is lauterbachiana and one stem just lost all of his leaves.
Hi! have you thought about dividing the plant? I have one that's a lot smaller than yours - i'm thinking of dividing when it's time to repot because it has grown a small separate bulb - but yours has several, and it looks super healthy! what are your thoughts on dividing?
Virginia Acosta Hey there! So I’ve given it some thought and I wouldn’t feel comfortable diving. Only because this would mean cutting the root system apart and I’m not certain on how to do it correctly (yet). Not separating them just means that the leaves won’t grow as big and I’m okay with that.
