If you want a tree that has been around eviloutionarly since the dinosaurs you could get a Ginkgo biloba, a Norfolk Island Pine or yes a Sago Palm! These trees have been around for about 280 million years so owing one is like having a piece of botanical history in your own yard/livingroom. Careful though these guys can bite and are decked out in some serious armor.
