I have a baby Compacta I bought from a local nursery. I have had her for about 2 months. When I first brought her home, she was about 4" and had 2 leaves forming on the tip, but they soon shriveled up and died... About 2 weeks ago, I saw 2 new leaves forming on the tip! After closer inspection, I saw about 3 new leaves popping out! She also looks like she is shooting out a new branch! Wish me luck!!
Many thanks for this enjoyable video! The bigger the plant the more concerned I am about the repotting, especially my Hoyas. Not so much with Pothos, Philodendrons, Agleonemas , Ferns, Ficus and Sansevieria. These all seem to go well without a hiccup. Your Hindu Rope is large and healthy so I know she’ll do great. Like you, I always take cuttings as a back up. The back ups give a good dose of hope and some peace of mind. It’s all good! 👏🪴🥰

OMG your compacta looks so freaking good in that terra-cotta pot, I love it 🫶🏼!!! I’ve been looking forward to this video so I can repot my compacta (just kidding, I will never repot mine- way too scary). You did inspire me to shower it tho and it really looks beautiful and seems super happy too. I’m curious, where did you purchase your compacta ? Or was it a gift?

@@happygreenplants6469 isn’t it nice that Terra-cotta is actually affordable as well as being the better looking option? Win-win for sure! One of my ropes is from planterina also but it’s just not as nice as yours. I believe it’s in an 8” pot but the leaves are quite a bit smaller. Still love it tho :)
She’s still as stunning as ever and giving me a few new leaves! However, no blooms this season 😞 I suppose there’s still time so I won’t give up hope! 💜💜
