+michael hawkins well I'm not a court official I'm a mother of a young black man I can hear and see her pain all this senseless killing is out of control smh
But she is so RIGHT it's a revolving door for Black on Black Murders in the Hood I've seen 6 murders go in jail and do less than 10yrs max, I've seen Drug dealers do more time for a small amount of Drugs than Cold blooded killers I know.
THIS LADY.IS SPEAKING THR TRUTH.ITS A DAMN SHAME THAT U CAN HARM SOMEONE.AND YOU BACK ON THE DAMN STREET WITH IN MAYBEE ONE TO TWO YEARS.PRAYING FOR CHANGE
My condolences to the family of the young man that life was stolen. To the male that decided to take another person's life. You must repent and ask for forgiveness.
Theres never a Black father present. This is the norm in the Black community in America. It’s a shocking rarity when there is a father present in a black household.
You were and are a good mom ... you did everything right. Your son has to assume responsibility for his actions - he's a big boy now. Sorry that you and the rest of your family have to go through this.
The way she composed herself is heartbreaking. I don't know what I'd do if my children's killer was in front of me. That is so true & unfortunately everywhere is pushing these horrific crimes under the rug so they can make the headlines
I'm a parent, my colour is irrelevant, I feel for this mother, time will ease her pain, it matters not how long the killer gets in jail, her son can never be replaced, my thoughts are with her.
I totally respect the point that this mother was expressing and wish her the all the best. That said, the court system and/or criminal justice system overall can't stop the carnage that occurring on a daily basis in our streets. Our young men are literally killing each other. Nothing meaningful can change until we dramatically alter the environment that our youth are being raised. This is not simply a poverty issue, it's a mindset issue. I know many people with limited means that set the example for work ethic, integrity, ambition and family values. We can't incarcerate ourselves out of this mess.
He is eligible for parole after 55 years. But this is for 2 seperate murders! He should be executed. In fact, he should have been in prison long ago. Why weren't his previous sentences (and these) compounded by gang affiliation? Your prosecutors incompetence makes them complicit in these deaths.
The federal government won’t do shit about this ongoing cycle of gang violence nor does local authorities. The real change would only come true educating our youngsters about the danger of gangs.
I cannot believe people think he is qualified to be the President or Vice President. I saw him angling for that Senate seat all along too. He was not even qualified to be the mayor of Newark and did a terrible job. He is nothing but an empty suit as a politician, bought and paid for by Big Pharma and Silcon Valley
True, a lot of places you get more years for selling drugs, tax invasion or something involving money that ain't giving the government it's cut. Murderers get less punishment.
I'm from up north yes I'm in NC now big difference south is strick as he'll in South get slammed with time handing out football number just for spitting on side walk for real ..... I've been some there prisons here been on lock down prisons will break u I promise seen some guys go crazy for real lot corruption smh ......
Same if that ain’t the truth I don’t know what is , God bless this mother , I don’t know what I would do if one of my boys were gunned down and I never want to know , I also left jersey because damn near all my friends kids were murdered, it’s really sad something really needs to done about these gangs, and the funny thing is it’s always innocent people caught in their bullshit.....GOD HELP US😢
JerseyHustle 22 unfortunately until that question becomes a concern an a priority for my people it will continue!I can speak to this issue because my husband was killed by a stolen car in Newark,an what hurts the most is that the people who drove this car jumped out an left him to die without a second thought, these were people that look like me the problem is educating because when you no better you do better!these kids are out here killing each other for nothing, sad to say I was raised an born in Newark but I will never live there ever again I don't go anywhere near there.these kid's need strong black men they can look up to without it having to be some kind of hidden agenda.these kid's can't know there history because I will never understand if they knew the pain an struggles our people went through just for us to have something as small as sitting where we want on the bus, going to school's with people of other races, our people were murdered just for us to have the right to vote in this country.an with all this it seems we can only come together when something tragic happens to one of us,an even that only last for a second these people look at us as a joke saying we don't have to kill them anymore we will just sit back an let them kill each other off!we can't want people to respect our lives mattering when we don't even matter to each other.we all come from the same struggle our ansetors have a very deep pain in this country from what was done to them an we should be coming together to continue to fight for what they died for,not dying at the hands of each other the first thing other races are fast to bring up is black on black crime an we've given them that advantage by continuing to kill an hate each other.
CHICKEN & WAFFELS. what your saying don't make any sense. my point is every race kill each other. black white etc.. no need to point out any color. But okay
CHICKEN & WAFFELS so that makes me lost lol. I hear you my guy. U are nobody to make that call. Or that judgement of me you dnt know me from a can of paint. You see baby loc 103 an judge me from what you read. Naw cuh sound like u lost
I live in south carolina and yes there is crime here but its nipped in the bud here...unlike new york and new jersey these people keep doing crimes over and over
I live in Jersey. I'm next to Newark. I love the south. Especially South Carolina and Savannah, Georgia. I have come up with a conclusion on why it's like this. After observing both areas I think it's because NY and NJ are Godless, run by PC hypocrite liberals. The south doesn't play that dumb shit. I don't agree with the death penalty due to the Justice system being so flawed and corrupt but I also don't believe in the retardedness of our laws up here. It's fuckin' ridiculous and lacks common sense. I bet you make guns legal in NY and Jersey and it would fix that problem real quick
These young people come up from southern country towns with all their brothers and start kingpin businesses, getting rich overnight in cities lacking in gang structure.
SHE SPOKE THE TRUTH, GOD BLESS HER! I CANNOT/PRAY I NEVER HV TO IMAGINE SOME ****** (U KNOW 👿 THE WORD) TAKING MY CHILD'S LIFE & THEN I'M FORCED TO BE WITHIN BULLET DISTANCE OF HIM, BREATHING & LIVING LIFE; WHILE MY CHILD IS DEAD, NEVER COMING BACK, GONE FOREVER...A FREAKING MEMORY AT THE AGE OF 28!!! WOW! Sooo sad! 🙏😤🤦🏽♀️👿
Its sad the more u tell ur stories, the more people don't care. Sad. Save ur breath sweety, ur son is gone. Its nothing ,its over. Its sad. Just sad. The system not gonna change. Nomatter how much we speak on it, protest about it. We have to just protect our own lives.
Larry Fleming that's your answer right there who wants to do 70 when u could just rock out with the 55....datz like saying when u school out u wanna go home but u can't cuz u got 2 hours of detention
She is right about South Carolina ... I live in SC & the killing in Charleston and North Charleston is almost a everyday thing and she is right, they go to jail for a murder and spend a lil time, come back out and do it again ...
He could’ve survived if she left life support on I know it’s cost money but I’m the uk it’s free health service people stay on life support for Months and always make it
