This song represents that nothing lasts forever steam engines were seen as revolutionary especially Mallard and the Scotsman look at today E2s and J70s and various others are gone just like any fads that were huge at one point. Or it’s just a sad song about locomotives that represents nothing
This song reminds me of the dream job I want in my life and will most likely never come true I have been a fan of Thomas and friends for years but not for the characters but for the island of sodor because it is a place I want to be real A Haven for steam engines
1:28 The phrase, "mounted and stuffed" kinda makes some sense, considering City of Truro has no face in the show. Perhaps he's actually dead, and the crews are just displaying his corpse all over the country. To add to that, Sodor's residents may hallucinate him talking, since the railway's ballast is lead. Yikes. Sorry that got morbid all of a sudden. I guess it makes the End of Steam more chilling.
