Hi, this is Penny, that was my tank (Van Gogh), thank you for the kind comments. He is doing great in his new world and yes baby turtles can handle deep water just fine. I was amazed at just how well, and fast, he can swim and he has no problem navigating deep water. I really enjoyed making the tank topper and the decorations and wish I had the room for another tank. I could watch him play all day, such fun. Thank you again, I really enjoy your channel.
Hello! I am Andrew! Thanks for the feedback I actually upgraded the filter and the water level and made it more roomy shortly after I submitted the picture :) and I love the reaction vids!
I have a baby Painted turtle my name is Eva I do not have a picture of my turtle tank I have sent to The turtle girl yet I caught my baby turtle we live in Virginia it is uillegal to sell 🐢
Hey, Jonathan here! Thanks for showing the tank. I heard a week ago my DBT is coming into the country in a few days so mega excited! It’s around a 75g (wide and tall) so will do the little monkey a couple years. I’m gonna add some Co2 to it to try and outcompete the turtle destruction but the plants (and algae 🤬😅) are doing just fine so far! Keep up the good work!
I’ve watched a lot of your videos you really explain everything nicely and I understand what I need to do to make sure I take care of my turtle 🐢 thank you 🙏🏽
Hey I got a western painted turtle he’s in a 40 gallon right now I learned a lot what I can do I raised the water level and am hoping to get some decorations for his tank he loves to swim around
Thank you for showing my 75 gallon tank with my two precious DBT. They are joined at the hip, if one goes to bask they both bask. They are always together so sweet how they seldom part. I got mine with the help of Dan the turtle man. Tanner is quite a bit bigger than Tatum but I showed Dan their pictures and he says they are both females. They are the same age and are in brackish water with a coral substrate.
The male I found is larger than my baby girl so i guess i have to separate them for a year till she's bigger . Unless I find another smaller male somewhere else .
@@TheTurtleGirl Thanks. I actually rescued this turtle. He was floating on the river tangled in moss. So i scooped him up and took him home!! Maybe next reaction bud you could do hatchling turtle tanks. Think that would be a cool one. Especially with that awesome hatchling tank in todays vid.
Hey guys I’m in need of some advice. I’m setting up a 55 gallon tank for my first turtle. I was just wondering what kind of filter do you guys advise me to get.

I would love to submit a photo of my tank but it’s nothing really exciting. 75 gallon with a 5 inch turtle and fake plants because he will destroy all live plants. Don’t even get me started on my red eared sliders
